My experience consists of 1 year with FQHR-MI, 3 years with trails. We ride Western. Finally got her to shows last year--we are both new to showing. We like the trails, roadside riding and swimming in Lake Michigan. We like to compete for the fun of it and to motivate us to always learn more and try more.
I joined the Michigan Distance Derby with mare for a new set of adventures. Another friend has also joined and last year we started trail riding with her and her horse weekly. Joining MDD will give us the motivation to search out new trails and really get after the miles! Looking forward to seeing how many miles we really put on every year, and new adventures that we are sure to have. Excited to grow with my mare as we venture out!
