I have had my own horses now for 8 years and ride western. I mostly trail ride but do/would enter into fun shows.
A friend of mine joined the Michigan Distance Derby and put the information on Facebook. Once I read it, it was clear this is something I want to do beginning now.
Faith is my second horse. My first horse I lost tragically and thought I didn't want another after losing him that way. Faith has given me the boost I needed and I am looking forward to seeing more of Michigan. I also just purchased my first horse trailer so we are mobile and ready to ride.
