I've been riding for 25 years and have been showing for 11. I do halter showmanship western/hunter/English pleasure, gymkhana and speed events, to sorting cows. I've started out riding on the trails at the neighbors and down the road. When my horses aren't in a show ring we do all our riding on the trails. I consider myself an intermitted rider but I train my own horses. I will ride either western or English.
I wanted to join the Derby cause I love to trail ride and want to do it more at different locations then just around the farm. Some goals I would like to accomplish is to ride in more state parks around the state. I have several I've wanted to try but haven't been there yet.
