I have been riding Michigan bridle trails since 1967 after I fell in love with my first horse and we became best friends. I now have Justin, who was born into my family 23 years ago. A sturdy Quarter Horse Palomino to take me across the fields and through the woods. We ride Western.
I joined, because a friend of mine introduced the MDD to me and challenged me to ride more. When I was younger I rode all day, every day of the week and in all weather. Since I have gotten older and just got back on my pony after a bad fall and broken leg, I have not ridden as much. Joining the MDD will help an old Cowgirl get the support she needs to get back tall in the saddle.
